[english] [español]
come, ye thankful people
This hymn, often sung around Thanksgiving, was arranged for six-part mixed chorus in September, 2006 by Nathan Howe. It should be sung without accompaniment, preferrably with the women's and men's sections side by side (rather than one behind the other) for the desired antiphonal effect.
We recommend the A-flat version for most choirs; however, if you have strong, low basses and altos and a smaller soprano section, the G-flat version may work better for your choir.
