This hymn, loved for generations, was arranged for piano, flute, and women's voices by Nathan Howe at the request of the woman who would become his wife. It was sung at a fireside in preparation for a pioneer trek activity at Martin's Cove, Wyoming. The SATB version is based on the SSA version.
