introducing the ward choir network

Grate Media presents a music site sponsored by LDSmusic.us - the Ward Choir Network.  This site is a public service to those who direct, accompany, or sing in Church choirs.  It features discussion forums for those involved in music in the Church, as well as resources such as Nathan Howe’s series of Exercises to Improve Ward Choirs.  Come and watch this new site grow and suggest ways we can make it more useful to you.

Sacrament available again on LDSmusic.us

The PDF file for the recent hymn Sacrament by David Macfarlane and Nathan Howe is now accessible through the Hymns page of LDSmusic.us.  Thanks to the astute observer who contacted us when he could not get the file.  If you ever have difficulties accessing a song on our sites, please contact us and we will fix the problem.

Father in Heaven for SSA voices

“Father in Heaven, in thy love abounding,
Hear these thy children through the world resounding . . . “

Thus begins one of the beloved hymns of our time, a plea for peace in the world and in our hearts.  Nathan Howe has arranged Father in Heaven for unaccompanied women’s trio (SSA).  You can download the sheet music and hear a MIDI file through the Grate Music choral page.

Facelift, part 2

LDSmusic.us has now been completely redesigned for the second time in a month.  With this new design, we’ve worked out many of the persistent kinks.  We hope you enjoy it, and we would appreciate your feedback through our contact page.

A Prettier Face

As you can see, gratemusic.com and LDSmusic.us have gotten a bit of a facelift.  This was somewhat of a nice consequence of all the work we’ve been doing to improve the back end.  It means that if you have links to anything but the home page, you will need to update them.  The usernames and passwords for all the MP3 files have also been reset (sorry), so you will need to re-request them if you want access.

Also, we need your help - if you find any broken links, strange-looking pages, or other problems, please report them through the contact page.  New music will come shortly.
